On 5 December, the first anniversary of the blasts in the Pilot Plant of the Universidad Nacional de Rio Cuarto, which caused six deaths. One of them was Juan Andrés Politano, our "Juanita."

In the Catholic liturgy on 1 and 2 November are as All Saints Day and Day of the Dead, respectively. But the popular tradition was that the two days were dedicated to honor the dead in the cemetery.

But there was another singular event and less mystical. Given that there were people who came from afar, outside the gates of the cemetery, stood a tent where you could eat and drink different types of drinks, and at the end of the day was common to find one with a few drinks ...
Although the headnote to the delight of the younger ones, the tent was the ice cream, that day marked the start of the selling season, down in early March. Many of the coins were saving for this unique event.

On Saturday 11 October, was an event that began with the inauguration of a mini "Book Fair" organized by people from the Cultural Association "Flap" in the city of Cordoba. Also presented the awards to 20 º Literary Contest winners who were present. Within
program of events, was formally presented the first issue of "Jovita Station", the local newspaper which is published under the direction of Mr. Cristian Saby. This newspaper will come out once a month and will be distributed free of charge. Soon will this blog, some news that appear in it.
As a finishing touch, the group performed "YAPAI", a musical group jovitense, which already has a strong reputation throughout the region.

On 3 October, and for 6th consecutive year, was conducted across the country a program called "Reading Marathon, which aims is to develop, maintain and develop the habit of reading.
From the first year the Education Department Jovita joined the project, inviting people to attend your establishment and spend an hour reading. Each person chose the theme and the book of interest. In primary schools the invitation was a family of students, and read stories and then be analyzed in the language class.
habit to read is very beneficial, especially for young students, as it provides an understanding of the texts has to learn. Today
also have other advantages. Not only can you read in books, newspapers or magazines, but the Internet also puede ser un buen medio para desarrollar el hábito de la lectura.

Como ya es tradicional en nuestro pueblo, el mes de octubre es denominado “mes del aniversario”, por esta razón durante ese período, las instituciones locales programan una serie de eventos para que la comunidad pueda elegir dentro de lo que le es más afín.
Estas actividades cuentan con diversas acciones culturales, sociales, deportivas, de entretenimientos, entre otras. El acto oficial se realiza el día 28- feriado local- en la plaza San Martín.
A los jovitenses que están lejos, y hace mucho que no nos visitan, los invitamos a hacerlo en estos días para cantarle todos juntos el “Cumpleaños Happy "to our beloved Jovita

In the first instance was a finalist, along with six other young people from different parts of the country, who had to travel to the Federal Capital, to finally settle who represent Argentina. There
Joaquin showed his claws and responsible young scholar, being the overall winner, which now represents all Argentineans. Currently
is in the State of Israel, with a group of young Latin Americans.
On his return we will talk about their experiences.
